Distribution

Mainly found along the Mediterranean coast, including Israel-Palestine, Greece, southern Italy, southern France, southern Spain, and parts of North Africa such as Tunisia and Morocco. It is also distributed in other regions of Africa and parts of southern China in Asia, but with different species and characteristics.

Physical Properties

High density, with an average reaching approximately 1140 kg/m³. The wood is solid and has high hardness, with a Brinell hardness of up to 5.6, comparable to Ipe and Jatoba. The wood pores exhibit an oblique and radial arrangement tendency, containing dark-colored resin. There is no distinct difference between heartwood and sapwood; the heartwood ranges from pinkish-brown to reddish-brown, while the sapwood is slightly lighter. Growth rings are not obvious.

Appearance Characteristics

Vibrant color with clear and aesthetically pleasing grain patterns. The texture is unique, featuring both straight and wavy grains interwoven to form a distinctive appearance. The color varies from golden yellow to deep brown, sometimes with green streaks, and darkens over time.

Other Properties

Naturally antibacterial, preventing bacterial growth. It has a high oil content, forming a natural protective layer, making the wood fine-textured and resistant to absorbing dust and impurities. It has a certain degree of decay and insect resistance, but the heartwood is difficult to treat with preservatives. It dries slowly and is prone to cracking and deformation during the drying process.

Packaging & Shipping Methods

•    Your order will be packed with utmost care. Each slab is wrapped in protective coverings and placed inside a durable wooden crate to minimize any transit damage. We take every precaution to ensure your item arrives in pristine condition.

Tracking Your Order

•    Once your purchase ships, we’ll send you a shipping notification by email. Please note there may be a short delay before the shipping carrier updates the tracking details.

Changing Your Delivery Address

•    Please double-check your shipping address when placing an order, as Sakura Luxe Resin LLC cannot be held responsible for incorrect addresses. If you notice an error, contact our Customer Care team immediately at support@sakuraluxeresin.com, and we’ll do our best to update your address before the item ships. Once a package has been dispatched, we can no longer alter the delivery location.

Delayed Orders

Partial Shipments

•    Sakura Luxe Resin LLC utilizes multiple warehouses and different carriers, so items in your order may ship separately. Missing Items

If an item is missing, contact us with your order number. We’ll verify the shipment status with our warehouse, which may take up to 24 hours. If the item was lost in transit, we will file a claim with the carrier (up to 7 days). We will take action to resolve the issue promptly.

Cancellation Policy

•    We accept cancellations within 6 hours of purchase if there is a valid reason.
•    Once an item has begun production or is in transit, cancellation is no longer possible.
•    Any cancellation requested after 72 hours of placing the order will incur a 35% cancellation fee.

Return Policy

•    Refunds are available within 30 days of delivery for non-custom items that have a product defect. Customized items are non-refundable.
•    Showroom samples and special orders are non-returnable.
•    Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility; we can assist in arranging shipping if needed.
•    Items must be returned in “like-new” condition or additional restoration fees may apply.
•    A 35% restocking fee will be deducted following inspection for any returned merchandise.
•    We cannot offer refunds or compensation for issues related to natural disasters, conflicts, pandemics, or similar unexpected events.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Quality Assurance

•    Every item undergoes a thorough quality inspection before shipment.
•    If your product arrives incorrect, damaged, or defective, please provide a detailed description and photos so we can address the issue. A partial refund may be issued based on the nature of the problem.
•    Damages caused by home assembly errors are not covered.
•    Natural wood characteristics (e.g., knots, cracks, distinctive grain patterns) are part of its charm and do not qualify for returns or refunds.

Warranty Policy

We offer free product support for any issues that arise within six months of receiving your item, provided the issue is not caused by human negligence. If the product malfunctions due to quality issues, please contact us via email with relevant pictures and videos. We will promptly address the issue.

Material Information

•    We use premium-quality timber, which can contain natural imperfections.
•    Wood may experience minor dimensional shifts due to environmental factors; often, adjustments in the item’s surroundings can resolve these issues. Returns are not accepted for such minor movements.
•    We do not accept returns for changes caused by climate or environmental conditions.
•    Our wood products are meant for indoor use and may change slightly in response to temperature or humidity variations. Adjusting the environment usually solves these concerns.

Maintenance

Wipe Down the Epoxy Resin Table with a Soft Sponge. The first step to taking care of your epoxy resin table is to wipe down the surface using a wet towel. If you want to perform a more in-depth cleaning of your epoxy resin table, use hot soapy water and a sponge to scrub away any build-up.
