Scientific Name
Some species within the Diospyros genus are commonly referred to as ebony wood, with Diospyros celebica (Macassar ebony) being a well-known example.
Origin
Primarily found in tropical Asia, including Sulawesi and the Philippines, as well as parts of Africa such as Gabon, Guinea, and Mozambique.
Appearance
The distinction between heartwood and sapwood is pronounced. The sapwood ranges from white (with yellowish-brown or bluish-gray hues) to light reddish-brown. The heartwood is black (either deep black or with a slight greenish-jade tint), featuring irregular black streaks alternating between light and dark.
Grain & Texture
The grain alternates between black and white, ranging from straight to slightly interlocked. The texture is fine and uniform, with well-structured grain patterns.
Feel & Finish
The wood has a natural luster and no distinct odor. When finely polished, it exhibits a subtle translucency. The fibers are delicate, with no visible pores, giving the wood a smooth and refined appearance.

• Standard Shipping: After drawings are approved and production begins, custom epoxy tables are typically finished and ready to ship within 9–11 weeks.
• Expedited Shipping: Once you approve the drawings, production starts, and tables are usually completed in 6–8 weeks.
• Note: Because each piece is handcrafted, these production and delivery timelines are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.

• Standard Shipping: In-stock wood tables typically arrive within 5–8 weeks.
• Expedited Shipping: In-stock wood tables generally arrive within 3–5 weeks.
Packaging & Shipping Methods
• Your order will be packed with utmost care. Each slab is wrapped in protective coverings and placed inside a durable wooden crate to minimize any transit damage. We take every precaution to ensure your item arrives in pristine condition.
Tracking Your Order
• Once your purchase ships, we’ll send you a shipping notification by email. Please note there may be a short delay before the shipping carrier updates the tracking details.
Changing Your Delivery Address
• Please double-check your shipping address when placing an order, as Sakura Luxe Resin LLC cannot be held responsible for incorrect addresses. If you notice an error, contact our Customer Care team immediately at support@sakuraluxeresin.com, and we’ll do our best to update your address before the item ships. Once a package has been dispatched, we can no longer alter the delivery location.
Delayed Orders
• Unforeseen events such as poor weather conditions or flight delays can occasionally cause shipping disruptions. While some packages may arrive early, others might take longer—especially if you live in a remote area. If any issues arise, please CONTACT US or email support@sakuraluxeresin.com.
Partial Shipments
• Sakura Luxe Resin LLC utilizes multiple warehouses and different carriers, so items in your order may ship separately. If you have received only part of your order, the remaining items could still be in transit. For more detailed information on pending shipments, email us with your name and order number.
Missing Items
If an item is missing, contact us with your order number. We’ll verify the shipment status with our warehouse, which may take up to 24 hours. If the item was lost in transit, we will file a claim with the carrier (up to 7 days). We will take action to resolve the issue promptly.

Cancellation Policy
• We accept cancellations within 6 hours of purchase if there is a valid reason.
• Once an item has begun production or is in transit, cancellation is no longer possible.
• Any cancellation requested after 72 hours of placing the order will incur a 35% cancellation fee.
Return Policy
• Refunds are available within 30 days of delivery for non-custom items that have a product defect. Customized items are non-refundable.
• Showroom samples and special orders are non-returnable.
• Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility; we can assist in arranging shipping if needed.
• Items must be returned in “like-new” condition or additional restoration fees may apply.
• A 35% restocking fee will be deducted following inspection for any returned merchandise.
• We cannot offer refunds or compensation for issues related to natural disasters, conflicts, pandemics, or similar unexpected events.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Quality Assurance
• Every item undergoes a thorough quality inspection before shipment.
• If your product arrives incorrect, damaged, or defective, please provide a detailed description and photos so we can address the issue. A partial refund may be issued based on the nature of the problem.
• Damages caused by home assembly errors are not covered.
• Natural wood characteristics (e.g., knots, cracks, distinctive grain patterns) are part of its charm and do not qualify for returns or refunds.
Warranty Policy
We offer free product support for any issues that arise within six months of receiving your item, provided the issue is not caused by human negligence. If the product malfunctions due to quality issues, please contact us via email with relevant pictures and videos. We will promptly address the issue.
Material Information
• We use premium-quality timber, which can contain natural imperfections.
• Wood may experience minor dimensional shifts due to environmental factors; often, adjustments in the item’s surroundings can resolve these issues. Returns are not accepted for such minor movements.
• We do not accept returns for changes caused by climate or environmental conditions.
• Our wood products are meant for indoor use and may change slightly in response to temperature or humidity variations. Adjusting the environment usually solves these concerns.
